Commercial Description:
The most decadent creation ever to be crafted in FCB's brewhouse. Deep roasty flavors, rich chocolate nose, coffee undertones and impeccable balance are the result of imperializing an already flawless brew.

22oz bottle. Pours a dark brown with a decent sized tan head and moderate lacing. Aromas of roasted malts, coffee, a bit of chocolate(more as it warmed) and peanut butter(I swear I smelled pb). Flavor is at first chocolate, then roasted bitter malts. Plate is a bit thin and oily, but overall not a bad beer.

I poured this one a good 20 minutes ago and let it sit next to me to warm up a little. I kept getting whiffs of chocolate and grains and I couldn’t wait any longer. The aroma really comes across with a rich roasted chocolate smell, deep and full bodied. The palate starts and ends with a very smooth viscous mouth feel. The middle of the beer has a bittersweet chocolate zing to it. The flavor is a smooth roasted chocolate that ends with a slight dryness in tangent with the viscous mouthfeel.

Bottle courtesy of alraicercsu pours opaque black with thin quik disapating tan head. Aroma is dark roasted malt with a hint of some kind of fruit. First taste is roasted malt, then a slight coffee bitterness. The coffee taste lingers. Carbonation is nice but it is a little watery. More like a stout not very sweet.

Not bad, but there is a ton of chocolate beers out of there and this beer is just not one of the best. The body is a touch thin, the aroma is pretty good, but the flavor offers, in addition to a good amount of chocolate roastiness, diacetyl and some weird sourness that I’ve noted before in beers with a lot of dark malt. Mouthfeel is a shade chalky, which is neither good nor bad, and is a touch thin, although it isn’t sticky (which is nice). Not bad, but like I said, just not one of the best when the words "chocolate" and "beer" collide in my mind. I bought this as a single bottle in a mixed 6-pack from the Woodman’s in Oak Creek.

Bomber bought in Evanston, WY. Pours a dark black color with a medium brown head. The aroma is full of roasted chocolates and malt, some alcohol also. The taste is very nice; smooth roasted flavors, some chocolate, but not too much, a noticeable alcohol presence also. Lots of roasted flavors and, overall, a nice brew.

Bottle back from nashville on my last trip up there. After recently having the stone anniversary chocolate stout this one is a bit pale in comparison. Flavor and complexity is not quite there. Aroma is nice though with some big roasted malt and chocolate. Flavor is coffee, bittersweet chocolate, and cocoa. The finish is a little bitter and interrupts the smooth creamy texture from the beginning of the experience.

Bottle: Very dark pour. Very thick bubbly head. Aroma and flavor of decadent, dark chocolate, coffee, and tinge of citrus (only a tiny bit). A bit sticky for my tastes insofar as mouthfeel, but the flavor is good.

Bottle. Tan head, frothy, mostly diminishing. The body is black, but not opaque. The aroma is is full of dark chocolate and roasted malts with notes of grain, grapefruit and coffee. The flavor is moderately to heavily sweet, lightly bitter and lightly acidic. The finish is lightly bitter and moderately sweet. Strong taste of chocolate syrup. Medium to full body with a watery texture that turns sticky at the end. Medium carbonation. The alcohol comes through in the finish. This is an OK stout, but it’s overly sweet even for a sweet stout. At first, this is quite enjoyable, but it gets cloying after awhile.
