I really liked this beer. Nice caramel flavor, nice malty finish. I liked the brewery’s tasting room too. Quaint, but very comfortable.

Deep red. Nose lightly hoppy, some caramel and brown sugar. Bit soapy. Flavor is toasty caramel and mildly bready. Fruitiness is a bit odd, lemon and something like overripe orange, a bit off. Still, nice maltiness, and decently backed by hops. Good palate as well. Reminded me a bit of a poor man’s Boulevard Bob’s 47.

On tap at the brewery, 4/12/06: True amber hue. Caramel and toasty character in the aroma and flavor. Well balanced. Not too sugary like many in the style.

Orange Fire with Off White Ring. Burnt Caramel / Rich Malty Notes on the Nose. Vienna Malt Is Very Nice in This Lager..I prefer This over Schell’s Firebrick. Caramel...Toasted Notes...Thick Almost Syrapy Mouthfeel...Crips Dry Finish. Nice Brew.

12 oz. bottle purchased at the brewery. Has a clear amber hue with a white head. Rich, sweetbread smell. Medium bodied with a rich, creamy mouthfeel. Taste is of roasted grains and sweet malts; no surprizes here. Finishes with a slight hop bite. Smooth and easy drinking

Reddish tan, big fluffy off white head. Malty note, hints of biscuits. Well balanced, very flavorfull. I’d call this a darn good vienna.

Pours copper with a thin white head. Smellds of sweet malt and wildflowers. Tastes earthy and crisp with a peppery splash on the finish.

Aroma is a lot like a Lindemans, very fruity with caramel and dough. Body is amber/brown, with a lasting cream head. Taste is fruity which fades to a nice malt backbone. A tasty brew.
