BeerandBlues2 (2630), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA Aug 3, 2005 Draught. Pours amber with an edgy off-white head. Pine and citrus (grapefruit) and resin aroma with malt notes. Bitter rind grapefruit malt flavor. Light bodied and crisp palate. Beaver (500), Fort Collins, Colorado, USA Jul 30, 2005 From growler. Pours a clear light golden with a large pillowy white head that retains well and leaves a little lacing.

The aroma is grassy, earthy hops with a touch of citrus and bready malts.

The flavor is a speckle of sweet malts then some corn/vegetables that quickly gives way to a big floral hoppy bitterness. It has a long lasting bitter aftertaste. The mouthfeel is thin to medium bodied with lively carbonation.

Overall, a decent IPA. It’s very hoppy and bitter, but the hops used aren’t my faves. The vegetable flavor threw it off for me as well. I appreciate what they’re trying to do though.
Kevin (1779), Colorado, USA Jul 30, 2005 wow, a hop monster. over the top grapefruit aroma, the aroma is abusive hops grass and ctrus. clouded yellow with a huge head.sweet bitter lemon with a great bitter grapefruit . very good especially when it is 100 degrees outside. lonelybeergeek (30), Tempe, Arizona, USA Jul 8, 2005 Interesting. Not spectacular. Very hoppy but not a whole lot else. Very pungent and pleasant aroma. Crosling’s house is HOT!!! Crosling (1704), Loveland, Colorado, USA Jul 8, 2005 Very light orange in color. Fruit cocktail hop aroma (mainly peaches), with herbaceous and grassy aromatic elements as well, along with a light hint of butter toffee, vanilla and nectarines. Light in body, with a silky texture. Juicy and fruity hops, that remain very herbal and medicinal. Pretty diverse hop flavor, though not much malt contribution. A nice experimental hoppy beer brewed for hopheads, by brewers who suprisingly, don’t enjoy hops. They just brewed it for people like me.
