| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Oct 16, 2008 (Bottle) Pours a hazy yellow color with about two fingers of foamy white head. Dusty wheat aroma with a distinct grainy note. The taste is pretty unusual. Sour fruit (not sure if I’d necessarily say pomegranate) up front, then more of a subtle wheat and biscuit finish. It seemed to have a dry, bitter finish. Average mouthfeel and palate. Unusual, and worth trying... but not that great. CanIHave4Beers (927), Des Moines, Iowa, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Oct 10, 2008 This is different, but not terribly exciting. It basically tastes like a hopped up American wheat beer with a faint, very faint pomegranate flavoring. Perhaps the lack of fruit is not such a bad thing, but even the driest funkiest fruit lambics maintain some a distinct flavor of the fruit, with this one I am not sure I would even notice the pomegranate if it were not labeled on the bottle. In other news, this has a nice little head with some good lace, and is a bit watery in texture. Rciesla (3900), Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 5/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Oct 1, 2008 Bottle. Pours a pale golden body with a white head. Wheaty beer with some astringent fruit, tastes like phony fruity esters and a bit metallic. Eh pass on it. blklab2007 (984), Connecticut, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Sep 29, 2008 bottle poured a lighter golden color with a thin white head. aroma has wheat, faint fruit, sweetness, wheat, and grains. mouth feel is thin with light carbonation. flavor has a light pomegranate extract fruit sweetness, light wheat body, and some bitters. very washed out with some minerals and bitters lingering in the finish. thirst quenching but not very exciting. stchloe (491), Portland, Oregon, USA
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Sep 27, 2008 Pomegranate is a very delicate fruit, the extract more so. In tea and other brewing processes that flavor is lost. Even paired with a wheat, there just isn’t any fruitiness left. Butters (1672), Virginia, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Sep 26, 2008 This is a nice change of pace. Semi-cloudy yellow with fair white head and Suprising amount of lacing. Fruity fresh aroma. True to the description, it kinda is like a sweet-tart. Wheaty aftertaste. Not bad, but wouldn’t want to drink a lot of these. beerbill (1985), Laurel, New York, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Sep 24, 2008 12 oz. bottle. Pours a lightly hazy gold with a moderate-large white head that lasted until about mid-glass and left partial lace. Mild aroma of fruit that is difficult to distinguish as pomegranate. The flavor is wheat with that same unidentifiable mild fruit flavor. There is a light metallic twang that kicks in towards the finish as the beer warms. Not something I’d be interested in re-visiting. jcwattsrugger (5582), Florida and, New Jersey, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Sep 22, 2008 12 oz bottle-pours a foamy white head and yellow color. Aroma is sweetish, grain/wheat, chamomile?, slightly off. Taste is musty/sweet grain/wheat, some fruit/chamomile? Is it pomegranate juice concentrate or real pomegranate, read the label-its both. Mild carbonation. Not my taste.
