Crystal clear orange tinted golden body with a nice sized, fast-fading white head. Aroma of wheat, yeast, coriander seed, curacao and a bit of cherries - no pomegranate noticeable. Medium-bodied; Sharp hop flavour and alcohol noticeable up front with malt and yeast following soon afterwards with a bit of fruit, not much. Aftetaste shows metal, malt, alcohol and a tiny bit of hops - no freshness or fruit. Overall, not such a great beer - this one really should be avoided. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Oliver’s Beverage in Albany, New York on 12-July-2008, sampled18-September-2008 at home in Washington.

Golden yellow with a thin white head. Aroma of grain, fruit, corn and pomegranate. Taste is mildly fruity but otherwise all wrong. Bad bitter, astringent with a chalky finish. Excitingly different? No, just another in the long line of fruit beers that completely miss the mark!

Bottle, pours a clear yellow color with no head, Initial sweet-tartness that quickly fades into pine filled hops, with decent light malts. Hmm pomegranate I don’t think so couldn’t taste it at all, Not a whole lot but I like the hops for a wheat beer.

I would drink this again. Bottle from Telluride Liquors. Standard wheat color and aroma but flavors of fruit and vanilla. The promised tartness is there, but they’d be better off beefing up the bacteria and making this a sour ale.

Bottle: Fruity aroma. Nice wheat beer flavor with fruity aftertaste, not sure if its pomegranate though. It’s an ok beer.

12 fl. oz. bottle via Lubiere, served at cellar temperature in a tulip glass. July 2008.

App.: Clear golden with a small ring of white head. Aroma: Lots of fruits with oranges, apples, other less assertive fruits (is that the pomegranate??), some maltiness, light honey. Palate: Medium body and fairly soft carbonation. Flav.: Light fruitiness, a bit of caramel and some graininess; slightly sweet, a touch tart and a touch bitter; light fruits on the finish.

I have no idea if this is pomegranate. Regardless, I didn’t love it.

Pours a pale gold with a medium bubbly white head. Fruity aroma, a little light but certainly can get the pom. Light grainy malt under that. Flavour starts well, crisp and tart but turns a bland middle before washing out in the finish with some lingering tartness. Not a lot of fruit coming through in the flavour. Certainly different.
