The aroma was faint and had a vague fruitiness. The flavor was tangy and tart with a vague fruity undertone. Not a whole lot to this one. alraicercsu (166), Ft.Collins, Colorado, USA

Didn’t bother decanting, but from what I understand, the appearance is not amazing. Neither is the beer inside the bottle. Nose is clean, smells like beer. Flavor is not very distinguishable from any other beer. There might be a breath of wheat bite to this, but I can’t detect a single iota of pomegranate, be it flavor, tartness, or aroma. Not offensive, but dissapointing. No character whatsoever. blankboy (3260), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Jun 1, 2008 Bottle. Pours a clear yellow-gold with an average size frothy white head. Aroma: Eh, not great -- it’s very light with notes of grain, wheat and a light sweetness -- I’m not really getting any fruit at all, it’s all very nondescript. Flavour’s grainy with a hint of fruit and an unpleasant finish -- I can’t quite place what I don’t like about it. Average bodied. I did not care for this. beerguy101 (3972), Newark, California, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 28, 2008 This fruit beer pours a light yellow gold color from a 12oz bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is fruity and sweet, with some wheat. A light to medium bodied fruit wheat. The malts are wheat and cereal. The hops are slightly spicy. It a fairly standard mild tasting wheat beer, but it has that tartness from the pomegranates. Nice but I wish it had more pomegranate flavor. Crisp and clean. Drinkable. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is crisp and clean. Aftertaste is slightky bitter, with a touch of tartness. pintocb (520), Darsville, Georgia, USA
| 1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 1/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 4/20 | May 11, 2008 Clear and golden. Dry smelling. Hints of freshly cut grass. Doesn’t taste like a wheat beer or a fruit beer....barely tastes like a beer. Soapy, tart, (in a bad way) and bready flavors abound. Not even worth having around as a lawn mower beer. soulgrowl (52), Kitakyushu-shi, Japan
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | May 7, 2008 Aroma: Green peas, some (baby) corn, and just a tiny poke of pomegranate. A bit of white grape juice.
Appearance: Poured into a wine glass, this is an attractive but plain pale orange. Tiny bubbles constitute a soft, white head. No lacing and thin, patchy retention.
Flavor: Where’s the pom? Oh, there it is. It comes through mid sip, well-hidden behind a grainy, corny sweetness. I am disappointed. I appreciate the brewer’s attempt to keep the pomegranate flavor subtle, but this is beyond subtle. It really takes some effort to notice, and I wish it were just a little bit more outgoing. Finish introduces some grassy hops.
Palate: Slick, almost cloying. Nothing special.
Overall: Matches pretty well with the Vermont white cheddar I’m eating, but not something I would recommend by itself. Cletus (5060), Connecticut, USA
