On tap at the Blue Dog in Chalfont. Unique as described. Pours a clear copper color with no head. Sweet, fruity aroma. Tart pomergranite taste hints with wheat at the front of the tastes buds.

Not at all what I expected. Tasted at the brewery, this fruit beer lacked much fruit flavor at all. Was very light and refreshing for a wheat, but wasn’t what it should have been. The aroma is nice, smelling of malt and sweet fruit and it pours a cloudy yellow with a thin white head. Every batch tastes different because this is such a small brewery, and I have it on good authority that it has tasted fruitier, but this one was just a very light summer wheat.

A beer cooler? I think that’s what this is. Odd that the brewer decided to use wheat to mix with fruit juice. I have to admit I was skeptical, as I am of any "non-pure" beer. But . . . The pour gives a satisfying froth on top and the wheat is not too particulate. The aroma is of fresh fruit, not particularly pomegranate. Tasty, the two flavors, though distinguished blend into a complex flavor.

Sweet perfumy aromatic aroma. Darker hazy wheat beer color, light brown and vanilla. Looks almost like hazy ginger ale. Some swirling stuff in there but not a whole lot, there isn’t any sludge on the bottom of the bottle. Thin creamy froth head. Bitter tart wheat beer impact. Very refined creamy carbonation. Except for the tartness, cannot really taste any pomegranates. Slight building medium length bitterness on the finish. Some hop and bitter grapefruit rind impact. Interesting. Has the same taste as many unfruited wheatbeers that have been hopped a little.

Pours a clowdy, light amber color with an off-white head. Aroma isn’t too fruity with a subtle sweetness that is pretty hidden with wheat and yeast. Not much to the aroma. Flavor starts off sweet with just a slight hint of some pomegranate. Finishes with wheat, slight toasted malts, and yeast. There is a little tartness on the lingering flavor. Not really anything exciting with this brew.

(12oz bottle) Medium off-white head atop lightly hazed apple juice body. Aroma is medium sweet, dough/bread, flower, some pomegranate tartness. Taste is medium sweet, wheat, dough, some pomegranate, light lemon. Light-medium body, light acidity.
