Not bad but nothing special. This is a medium bodied American wheat with some sour pomegranate added. The flavors do work well together, and this is very drinkable. Aroma has some wheat. Sour, wheat flavor. A good summer beer.

From a 12-oz bottle, shared at JK’s Spring Gathering. From 12 oz bottle it pours a hazy golden yellow with a fizzy white head. A bit of sticky lacing with light carbonation. Aroma of buckwheat, tart grape, lemons and pomegranate. Taste of mild wheat malt, sweet/tart pomegranate, crab apples and lemons. Light and dry finish to the palate.

12 oz bottle. Ok, I went into this expecting the worst. It pours a clear orange gold (wasn’t expecting it to be filtered) with small but retentive white head. The aroma is spicy hops, that savory tone that wheat sometimes imparts, and noticeable but subtle pomegranate. The flavor is the more tart aspects of pomegranate up front, but is not overwhelming or cloying at all. It fades into a dry, grainy middle. Then it dries even more toward the finish into a slightly spicy hoppiness that lingers into the aftertaste. As far as fruit-wheats go, this isn’t bad. Certainly better than I expected.

Pours amber with a smallish head. Fair to good lacing. Aroma of wheat and fruit. The fruit smelled more like cherry and lemon to me. Taste doesn’t bring too many surprises, except maybe some grassy hops. Light body. Thin texture.
You’re probably not expecting much when you try this...and boy does Major Tom deliver.

Bottle from Capone’s. I really like the house character of these Fort Collins brews. This one pours deep gold with 1-finger white head. Aroma of pale malt, hopcitrus, slight berry and pomegranate notes. The palate was on the thin side, but still refreshing, with taste notes of pale malt, some hopcitrus, honey, and pomegranate.

This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a medium sized head of foam with a frothy top fine to large sized white colored bubbles that were long lasting and left behind a transparent typically carbonated orange colored body. The aroma was malty musty and fruity. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The weird flavor was not to my liking. A horrible one that I would not buy again.

Bottle from Frugal McDugal in Nashville. Pours a translucent urine orange color with a diminishing fizzy white head. Faint aroma of wheat malt, but you really have struggle to get it. Spicy american wheat beer flavor mixed in with some sweetness and pomegranite. Mildy tart finish, with some hops that play into it. This is not too bad, perhaps a little too filtered.

The problem here is that there more tartness than any actual pomegranate flavor. Or aroma. Just tart, verging on sour. Maight be OK as a summer refresher, when one is extremely hot & thirsty, but otherwise...
