| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Mar 10, 2009 I am having a hard time smelling any type of fruit in the aroma. Slight sweet aroma becomes noticeable as the beer warms up. I don’t know what is going on with this beer, but I taste hardly any fruit. There is a slight sweet fruit flavor, but everything seems muted to me. This is the second pile I have had from Fort Colilns. This one is just like Amber Ale I had i.e. very bland. Clear beer with nothing to offer if you ask me. Dorwart (1830), Robbinsville, New Jersey, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Mar 2, 2009 Thin white head which dissipates quickly. Fruity aroma with some pear, light spices, some wheat and a bit of dusty malts. Color is a dark gold. Bitter flavor with an underlying sweetness. Some fruit flavors in there with a bit of spicy hops. Not a very good melding of flavors. All over the place and not very good. Finishes sweet and oily. Not recommended. WesKBob (321), Bethany, Oklahoma, USA
| 0.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 1/5 | 1/10 | 2/5 | 2/20 | Mar 2, 2009 I had to have had a bad batch. First off, the carbonation was insane--it took me better than 20 minutes to be able to pour the whole thing as I was getting nothing but foam coming out of the bottle. The aroma was mild, with some sweet and citrus notes. But that’s where the fun ended. The "sweet-tart" flavor mentioned in the description never appeared, just a nasty sour/bitter lemon flavor, like lemon zest gone bad. If any wheat or pomegranate flavor was there, it was overpowered by this bitterness.
I’m really, really hoping that I just got a bad or infected bottle and that they’re not actually trying to market this stuff. I’d be willing to give another bottle a try, but this one was an absolute drainpour. dwaggs2 (563), Lee’s Summit, Missouri, USA

| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Feb 28, 2009 Will the travesty never end? Fruit wheat beers.......ugh. If you’ve had one, you’ve had them all. Overly sweet, unbalanced, more like drinking Smirnoff Ice, or a wine cooler, instead of a beer. osu97gp (180), Atlanta, Georgia, USA
