Jan 16, 2009 At Brewery: Poured a golden color with not much head. The aroma was wheat, yeast, and berries. The flavor was weak, a tad watered down. Wheat and pom present but kind of sours out at the end. Not my favorite from the brewery.

Jan 14, 2009 12oz. Bottle: Aroma of wheat, pomegranate, grass, yeast, light hops, orange zest, and a hint of citrus. Poured amber/golden/orange in color with a huge, fluffy, foamy, off-white head that lasted throughout. Clear. Very sparkling. Full of small and medium-sized particles throughout. Excellent lacing. Flavor is lightly sweet. Tastes of pomegranate, orange zest, wheat, citrus, hops, and honey. Light to medium body. Average texture. Average to lively carbonation. Sweet, orange and pomegranate finish.

Jan 10, 2009 Pours golden with small white head. Grain and slight yeast on the nose. Flavor was wheat, with a touch of fruit/berry, and I guess pomegrante. Mild easy body with a sweet finish.

Jan 5, 2009 Pours a cloudy orange with a thick creamy white head. The nose is grainy, tart, mildly fruity, offputting, rotten fruit? Flavor isn’t much better, mild spice to it. Rotten fruit and some waxy hops. .

Jan 5, 2009 12 oz bottle poured golden color with a very carbonated head. Aroma was a lot of yeast but no fruit which I was expecting. Sweet body with a lot of banana and yeast. No fruit again. Maybe I am totally missing it, but shouldn’t a pomegranate beer have pomegranates in it? Or atleast taste like them.

Dec 15, 2008 Pour is a medium gold with a fast dissipating fizzy white head, tennacious carbonation propegating in the beer keeps small amount of head alive and leaves a small amount of lacing-suprising. Aroma is weak with lemony wheat, pomegranate manifest as a faintly earthy and fruity note, soapy hops. Flavo is swee at firs, with a hint of bubblegum,berry candy, pomegranate, wheat and bitter metal, lemony citrus hop notes. Finishes tart and honey sweet, uninteresting but better than expected.

Dec 10, 2008 Bottle from the Ft. Collins sampler. Slightly hazy light golden with lots of carbonation under a small white head. Mildly tart aroma of yeast and green apples. Not as much fruit as expected in the flavor. A reasonably straightforward American Wheat Ale with a snappy kick. Pomegranate? Maybe. Nice crisp texture and quick, dry finish.
