Body is medium brown.
Aroma is moderately malty (bread, roasted nuts, caramel), lightly hoppy (flowers), with a note of toffee.
Flavor is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly bitter.
Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately bitter.
Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation.

Apr 16, 2006 On tap at the brewpub, 4/12/06: The hostess was kind enough to let us try a special tap club offering. Great body. Dark copper. Caramel-nut and VERY well balanced. Drinkable. Not quite a dunkel to me, but good!

Apr 15, 2006 Growler.Pours with a solid but diminshing head, body is clear dark maroon. Aroma is grainy, chocolatey, dry. I’m told this has a ton of Munich malt. Taste is nutty, chocolatey, lighty fruitiness. Good balance with just a touch of bittering hops, could maybe use a little more. Medium bodied. Nice, but needs a little more umpf.
