A very dark amber to brown color. It has a nutmeg and caramel aroma to it. The flavor reminds me more of a brown ale than an amber. Somewhat sour with nutmeg and grapes present. This is a pretty good session beer.

Dark clover honey with red tinge. Decent head. Malt and yest on the nose. A malt dominated beer mainly caramel and nut. Slight floral citrus hoppyiness that tries to cut htrought he sweetness. Smooth and slightly oily.

Pours a dark brown/crimson with a nice dark head. Aroma is a bit astringent, but not overly. Flavor is light caramel malts, with some light hopping. Palate is smoother as it warms, but not bad cold. Ovrall a very drinkable amber ale.

This is a great little sessionable amber. Dark amberish in color with a small white head. Floral hop nose, with some citrus and toasted caramel. Very smooth and easy to drink with the appropriate amount of carbonation. A solid well balanced take on the style.

Fifth in the Fort Collins sampler... pours into a shaker with a half-inch fluffy white head and settles on a bold dark reddish brown body...almost a black and tan graduated effect to its head-to-toe dark-to-late coloring.... flowery and hoppy, bright and lively--pleasant and balanced with a hint of malts... creamy body; mildly fizzy--easy on the tongue and tastebuds... smooth, malty and a bit nutty...hints of a woody nature leak in late...a handsomely straightforward, barfood-friendly vibrancy--my mouth watered a bit...leaves little aftertaste,,, tough to find fault here... mellow and surprisingly solid!

Dark red/brown. Little to no head. nice flavoring of malt with a dry finish. Enjoyable, but a little too dry for my taste.

Bottle. Dark reddish-brown with a small, tan head. Toasted malt aroma, with sweet dark fruits and a hint of smoke. Big malt taste, with sweet fruits. Lingering malty bitterness. Very tasty amber ale.
