Bottle. Dark garnet color with a frothy light beige head. Mostly sweet caramel/toast malt aromas and flavors with some fruitiness and earthy qualities. Had a distracting salty note underneath which bothered me.

Good looking beer, a deep red with a tint of orange and a tall, creamy beige head. The aroma is sweet and malty, has a touch of toast, apples, and berries. The flavor is toasty and sweet, fruity with a light earthy bitterness to balance it out. Good session stuff.

12 ounce bottle in pint glass. Deep red with lasting ring. Toasty malty brown sugar aroma. Toasted brown sugar sweetness with mild ripe fruit and decent complex bitterness. Medium body and carbo. Not bad. Complex enough to be interesting.

12 oz bottle from Hy-Vee - Not an outstanding beer for me. Nice body, but not much to look at upon further inspection. Probably a two-bagger.

12oz bottle-pours a pours a foamy light tan head and amber/red color. Aroma is medium malt-peat, some hops. Taste is medium malt-peat/roasty/caramel, some slightly bitter herbal hops. Mild carbonation. Thanks to Joe-jwc215 and wasatch for picking this out.

On tap at brewery. Pours a deep red color with a good size white head. Smell of carmel and light fruit. Flavor is malty and sweet with a slightly bitter finish.

Bottle. Pours a deep ruby with an average size lasting frothy off-white head. Pleasant enough aroma of caramel malt, light earthy hops, nuts and some light sweet fruit. Flavour’s malty and sweet with a hint of "metal", light hops, fruit and a decent bitter finish -- not very exciting but it’s O.K. Medium bodied. "Red" beers aren’t really my thing but this one is alright.

Bottle, 12 oz. Ruby red with an off-white head. Flowery and fruity hop aroma, (perhaps pommegranate?). Dry finish. Not too apealing in my opinion.
