Hazy amber in color with a small tan head. Aroma: caramel, some light earthy hops and gets a bit dirty. Taste: caramel/molasses, toasted grain, earthy and lightly yeasty with a light hop presence. Very straightforward, not too bad.

Bottle courtesy of illinismitty. Pours mahogany with a thin tan head. Smells of fruit, sweet malt, some spicy touches. Tastes earthy with some sweet caramelly hints. Finish is semi sweet.

Bottle (12oz). A likely-lookikng brew - clear deep walnut red with a two finger beige frothy lasting head. Aroma is a bit disappointing - grainy and vegetal, perhaps a little herbal. The taste is a little better - not as vegetal, definite herbal hop bitterness and a hint of dry cocoa in the roast malt. Light body, moderate astringency in the linger, not much life to it though - passable, not exciting at all.

Decent amber brew. Pours a darker but clear reddish colour with a small white head. rich in body and somewhat sweet malted flavor midway through, plenty of lighter fruit with a short hop finish.

Bottle. Clear, dark copper with a large head that lasts and laces. Aroma is toasted nut, roast barley and slight metallic hop. Flavor is toasted nut and dry-roasted barley tending towards some coffee with a nicely contrasting, sour fruit flavor. Malt is balanced out by some hops that finish slightly bittering, and maybe a tad citrus. This beer could almost be a porter; the chocolate malt and/or roasted barley is the dominant taste, but not so overpowering as in some porter or stouts. Palate is smooth and medium-bodied.

12oz. Toasty, nutty and lightly sweet dark caramel malt aroma, with touches of citric hop, brown sugar and musty flowers. Mostly clear deep red color with a lasting, thin, ivory head. Flavor is sweet and fruity to start, some mild esters combining with shades of earthy bitterness and pine, drying out to a large degree before the end. Some orange peel citrus and peppery hop in the finish, along with some lingering cocoa very late. Palate is gently acidic and smooth with a moderately high degree of effervescence and a medium body. Pretty drinkable, it’s good that the hops have a fairly active role.

bottle. average fizzy head (mostly dissapating) into semi-sparkling murky brown body. good lacing. aromas of moderate hops (resin) and malts (caramel). flavor is moderately bitter throughout. dry texture. long finish duration. above average carbonation. Actually not bad amber.

Poured from 12 oz bottle, a deep amber, light brown foamy head. Aroma of some hops, malts and the like. Flavour was of a typical amber beer, nothing special here other than an easy drinking brew. Rather boring and unremarkable. Spend your hard earn green on something else.
