Pours a deep ruby-amber color with clarity and a fairly small, beige, pillowy head which is mostly diminishing. Nose is sweet with dark caramels, a light chocolate note, lightly toasted bread, and faint floral and a mysterious berry character. Flavor is nice with toasted dark bread, very dark caramel, light citrus notes (maybe berry in character), and a cedar note into the finish. Palate is medium-light, nearly lively, and a bit watery but drying out into the finish. Finishes a bit dry with lingering cedar notes and a nearly moderate bitterness. Quite a curious amber with some nice notes and certainly not a typical beer of the style. Nice local beer.

Deep amber, almost brown color. Bottle from GSO Winewarehouse. Slightly sweet aroma with a little licorice in there as well. The nose reminds me of a number of barlye wines I’ve had. The aroma sets you up for something big and full flavored but that does not come through. The beer falls a little short of complex flavors. Some sugar and some red fruits in there. Medium bodied and quick to finish leaving a sugary mouth coating at the end.

This is a nice brew from the Fo Co Brewery. Pours a clear amber redish color with an off white head. Aroma isn’t great, but the flavor was good. Very smooth with a malty not-so-bitter taste. Of all the brews at this brewery, this is among my favorite.

Pours dark red, small white head. Aroma is caramel malts and citrus hops. Flavor is very malty, lots of caramel, victroy and munich, witha slight touch of chocolate in the background. Hop bitterness with some citrus and pine but more bitterness than hop flavor or aroma. Very malty with hop bitterness with a good amount of chocolate and roasted malts in the background.

Pours a hazy ruby red color with a medium creamy offwhite head. Aroma of citrus hops overlaying the toasted malts. Slight hint of plum and sweet malts. Initial taste starts Toasty! Lingering bitter hops fade quick into a smokey chocolately finish. Body is very light but compliments smoothly. Sticky mouthfeel. Fair head retention and good Lacing of the glass.

Pours a copper color with an off-white head. Aroma is of slight citrus hops, toasted malts, caramel, and some sweet malts. Flavor is very malty with sweet and toasted malts with a slight backbone of citrus hops. Finish is pretty light with not much of a lingering flavor. Somewhat decent for an amber.
