12 oz. bottle. The only thing retro about it is that is reminded me of Killian’s which I drank some years back. If you like that you will like this. This was to me a very one-dimensional brew.

Bottled at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Clear deep ruby, rich head. Crystal malt aroma with some cherries and shampoo. Sweet with medium bodied and clean malt profile. Some spicy oraengey hops, notes of rye bread. Finishes with medium bitterness. A competent solid straight forward amber ale.

Good looking beer, a deep red with a tint of orange and a tall, creamy beige head. The aroma is sweet and malty, has a touch of toast, apples, and berries. The flavor is toasty and sweet, fruity with a light earthy bitterness to balance it out. Good session stuff.

Nice dark red color but has a very thin, filmy head. Aroma is of wine/grape and some woodsey malts. Sugary taste, red-wine towards the finish. Finish is bitter but not harsh and has a bit of piney hop resinous. Pretty good.

Bottle. Pours a bronzen ruby with thin beige head. The aroma is light toast, a dark sweet note, berries, and a faint note of fudge. The taste is much more like fudge, some nutty notes, toast in the finish. Quite interesting.

Deep copper color with a medium head. Head dissipates quickly, leaving spare lacing. Aroma of caramel and brown sugar and earth. Mostly sweet. Medium-light body. Fairly dry finish.

Bottle from Capone’s. Deep ruby color with aroma of caramel malt, cabernet, hops, brown sugar, some berries. Tastes caramelly, with hops, earthy malt, berries, and cabernet notes.
