Apr 20, 2009 Bottle. Pours red with a beige head. The aroma is hoppy, floral and spicy, with a hint of sweet malt. The flavor brings an herbal and floral hop profile with sweet malts and a hint of rye bread. Pretty good.

Apr 19, 2009 Pours an attractive red with a decent head forming. Head dissapates immediately, but leaves behind nice lacing. The smell is of malts and...metal? Slight biscuity flavor intermingled with some malt background. However, the taste is rather bland overall. Finishes smooth and is a very drinkable beer.

Apr 17, 2009 Updated: May 12, 2009The aroma is decent with sweet caramel malt and grassy hops but somewhat weak. The appearance is deep amber with an average head. The flavor is like the aroma. It does have a bit of malt but it has grain husks and there is a definite paper taste as well. The palate is smooth. Overall this is an average beer. This one is better draft than in the bottle.

Apr 14, 2009 Pours a brown and red color with a very nice frothy, off-white head. Aroma is strong of Munich malt, some apple fruit notes with some nice nuttiness to it as well. Flavor has a lot of straw/grass flavors, Munich malt roasted notes, light sweet fruit flavor and a really heavy walnut ending. Beer has low carbonation and a moderate density to it. Overall the nutty aroma and flavor dominate making it a pretty enjoyable beer.

Apr 11, 2009 Beautiful color. Nice lasting tan head. Aroma heavy of caramel malts. Mouthfeel is medium-bodied with more caramel and biscuit malts and a lot of hop dryness. Heavier carbonation than expected. Packs something of a punch, but is ultimately a little one-dimensional.

Apr 10, 2009 Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Pours with an off-white head and a hazed light brown body. Aroma is dusty peanut shells and the nuts themselves. Taste is malty with cardboard nuts and caramel. Light bubbles, dry mouthfeel.
