| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 5, 2009 Amber in color, white foamy head that leaves great lacing. Aroma starts once the cap is popped off with an earthy, piny aroma, light citrus notes come out at the end. Flavor follows the aroma with the pine hops dominating the flavor up front, middle carries a light caramel malt flavor which quickly fades to a heavy Munich malt flavor that dominates the remainder of the flavors. Semi alcohol feeling at the end. Overall a good IPA. cking (1041), North Canton, Ohio, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Apr 4, 2009 A big and malty, full bodied IPA with a tantalizing bitterness. Burnt copper body with amber shades. Bubbly/filmy white head and really heavy lacing. Scents of caramel, nuts, fruits and flowers hover above the glass. A hint of soap is present. Calm aroma for the style, but It is inviting. Thick and creamy body with a bitterness hanging out in the background followed by a residual sweetness. Definitely a malt forward IPA (not that there’s anything wrong with that) packed with fruity citrus hops. Flowers and evergreen notes pushed around by bread and nut malt flavors. A tangy sweetness rounds it out. Could almost consider this a robust APA, but either way it works for me alexsdad06 (1107), Ohio, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 28, 2009 12 oz. bottle from Tmoney99. Pours a slightly hazy deep orange amber color with a small ivory head. The aroma is moderately sweet with earthy and floral hops and light fruit. The flavor moderate malt with some floral and earthy hops, light bitterness in the finish. This is on the lighter side for an IPA. Could be a session type beer. chiefwahoo (12), Ohio, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Mar 27, 2009 Bit of a fruity aroma, a lot of hops but somewhat awkward aftertaste. I’ll try again, but have to say not near my top IPA. eboats (901), Omaha, Nebraska, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 25, 2009 Bottled. Poured dark orange with a tan head. Aroma was sweet oranges and lemons. Flavor reminded me of juicy fruit gum and fruit loops cereal. This was really sweet like candy, and pretty fruity to boot. Bockyhorsey (2554), Mesa, Arizona, USA
