Jan 13, 2009 Bottle courtesy of Butters on 08/12/2008. Very clear copper amber body with a medium creamy off-white head. Big earthy and floral hop aroma with a big malty background and some citrus hints. More floral and light citrus flavor, smooth caramel background. Medium body with moderate carbonation.

Jan 6, 2009 12 oz bottle poured medium brown and golden color with a quick head. Very little lacing. Smokey and musty aroma. Grassy hop bitterness. Thick body with a chewy mouth feel. Peat in the body and not a great balance. Not that great.

Jan 5, 2009 12oz bottle, amber color, with an off-white head, green peaish malt nose, with a mild resiny, piney, floral hop accent, with a faint citrusy note in the aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a yeasty, peaish, grainy malt, with a nice flowery hop citrus character with some piney, resinous flavors, with some grapefruit, lemon, grassy accents leading towards a hop juicy lemony, leafy bitterness finish.

Dec 27, 2008 Copper colored pour with a thin white head. Musty, piney hop aroma. Flavor is somewhat soapy hops with pine and citrus over a sweet malt body. Lightly dry finish. Nice.

Dec 21, 2008 Beer has an excellent aroma upon opening the bottle. Once the beer was poored, aroma faded slightly. Beer is a clear copper color with a thin white head. Aroma is a perfumy hop aroma. Beer has a great hop flavor which subdues 1/2 way through the glass. Hop flavor in piney and floral with a slight amount of citrus presence. Mouthfeel leaves a slight stickiness. Overall beer is very good and would enjoy having a few.

Dec 18, 2008 Bottle. I am not sure what the elephant is doing in the Rockies. Anyhow, pours copper with little head. Aromas have a very heavy pineapple edge to them. Flavor is crisp pine and citrus hops over a caramel malt body. This is very nice stuff and I dont see how it is rated so low.

Dec 15, 2008 Bottle, thanks to acrdz. Clear amber red with a fleeting head. Mild grassy, floral hop aroma. Medium body. Nice hop juice flavors of pine sap and flowers with a sharp caramel sweetness to balance.
