| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 21, 2008 Beer has an excellent aroma upon opening the bottle. Once the beer was poored, aroma faded slightly. Beer is a clear copper color with a thin white head. Aroma is a perfumy hop aroma. Beer has a great hop flavor which subdues 1/2 way through the glass. Hop flavor in piney and floral with a slight amount of citrus presence. Mouthfeel leaves a slight stickiness. Overall beer is very good and would enjoy having a few. Anyhow, pours copper with little head. Aromas have a very heavy pineapple edge to them. Flavor is crisp pine and citrus hops over a caramel malt body. This is very nice stuff and I dont see how it is rated so low. AmEricanbrew (1929), orange, California, USA
