| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Sep 27, 2008 My first thoughts are that this looks pretty good. Slightly cloudy amber in color. Piney floral in aroma with a pleasingly mild hoppy bitterness that lingers a little but fades over the short term. Overall it gets better as you drink it. A good solid brew... Thanks to BeerandBlues2 for hooking me up with this. scoth (284), Fort Collins, Colorado, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 24, 2008 Bottle. Pours clear orange-amber with a small off-white head, good lacing. Big floral aroma, with pine, hay and bananas. Average body. Grapefruit, and pine flavor, with a dry, hoppy aftertaste. The malt flavors are subdued. Pretty drinkable for an IPA, though a bit bitter and dry. sloth (1678), Ceciltucky, Co., Maryland, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 22, 2008 Small tan head thats short lived, little lace. Hazy, orange/amber color. Nose is stale mowed grass with some caramel malt under tones. Body is med/light, lightly oily on the palate with decent carbonation and some astringency. Flavors mirror the aromas with added notes of grapefruit, graininess and butterscotch. Fairly dry somewhat astringent finish. Bottle procured in trade from beersandblues2, thanks Brad! marchcow (664), Coralville, Iowa, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 14, 2008 Bottle, pours a light color with a light head, not a ton of aroma, mostly green hops, taste is floral and slightly sweet. Really not to spectacular, but easy to drink. Butters (1651), Virginia, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Sep 12, 2008 Pours a hazy gold with orange tint. Amazing pine aroma. Unbalanced hop flavor is overbearing, not overly bitter, but just lots of hop flavor. Thin body with low carbonation. Piney hop bit finish. fidelis83 (729), Clinton, Iowa, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Sep 8, 2008 Pours old copper red, with a 1 finger head that fades slowly and leaves lacing. Aroma is mostly citrus hops, wet rocks and a little fresh cut grass. Flavor is citrus, pine and bitter hops, egg bread, wet leaves, and bitter hops with a hint of alcohol to finish. Mouthfeel is a little thin, but not too dry. Overall a good, not great IPA. unclemike (833), Ft. Riley, Kansas, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Sep 5, 2008 Bottle. Pours hazy copper orange with off-white head. The aroma is citrus hops and some sweet bread. The flavor is some dry citrus and pine, over a bready malt backbone. In the middle it gets zesty and earthy with some cracker notes, leading to a lemony finish with some green wood tones. Not superior, but definitely drinkable
