Commercial Description:
We ventured into unfamiliar territory to create an IPA to fit our style. An intense floral nose, firm balanced flavor and long hoppy finish make Rocky Mountain IPA our very own.

12oz bottle from total wine in greenville. pours a hazy, orange-copper, with a thin white head and a ring of solid lacing. aroma is quite nice with fresh, floral hop notes, sweet pink grapefruit and orange citrus, with slight notes of creamsicle, caramel malts and pine resins. flavor is hoppy and slightly sweet initially with notes of orange citrus, grapefruit peel, and hints of apricot and floral esters backed by light, toasted caramel malts, cardboard, and leafy/earthy hops. palate is medium bodied and highly carbonated with a solid, bitter hop finish. overall, a decent IPA.

12oz bottle -> pint glass. Appearance is ruddy golden brown. Head is off-white; retention is good and laces quite well. Aroma is caramel and mild rose. Hops are evident to the nose, but not ’massive’ as the label states. Large malt presence meets the tongue with a very dry bitter finish. Mouthfeel is smooth, then gritty with a film. There is a balance between hops and malt here. Something seems amiss... This is a good session IPA, however.

12oz bottle from total wine and more in atlanta. murky dark orange pour with a finger off-white head and good retention. resiny, floral, citrus hop aroma. taste is dominated by the malts. dry pine hops comes through more as it warms. hard to describe - but I think it’s resins that are prominent throughout - if that’s what creates the dryness. bit of a chewy quality to the medium texture. tough one to rate - not what I normally go for in an ipa, but interesting.

Draught. Clear golden with medium white head. Aroma of orange peel and grapefruit, notes of light malts, very nice. Taste is predominantly of bitter grapefruit. Very clean and refreshing.

orange with creamy head. smells like a typical american IPA with a touch of cinnamon. taste is bitter and brittle with a little more of that cinnamon coming through. soft mouthfeel. med-full body. some alcohol flavor coming through at the end there. decent.

The look is a clear dark orange. One finger of puffy head. The liquid is still, save for a few stray bubbles. A strong resiny hop aroma. A little sweet, with a woody finish in the nose. Flowery, though a tad musty. Strength of the aroma is quite impressive. The taste is resiny, oily/woody hops grounded by some dry, gritty malt. Woody and bitter on the tongue. Flowery and estery. Pale crystal malts. Dry and sandpapery on the palate. Thick, but in a good way. It’s a gritty IPA. Bitter but not harsh. On the hoppy side but balanced just enough.

Bottle: Bright copper color with a finger of creamy beige head. Thick, sticky bits of lacing. Nose is rich with grapefruit, citrusy. Just a bit of malts. Taste is hop-forward, citrus and florals. Dry and floral, but enough malt to keep things modest in bitterness. Crisp finish touches on both citrus and florals. Good.

12oz. bottle from Woodys in Franklin, TN. Pours a nice cloudy red-brown with a very small white head that leaves behind considerable lacing. Aroma is strong of caramel and nuts. Nice flavor strong of caramel and some nuts. Slightly bitter with a slight aftertaste. Medium mouthfeel, pretty smooth. Overall its pretty solid IPA...something I wouldnt mind having available on tap at the local bar.
