Jul 14, 2008 12 oz. single bottle from Total Wine in Huntersville, NC. Pours a nice amber like color. Aroma is mostly hops, some grass notes, taste is hops and finish is hoppy as well, with some citrus notes. A good IPA.

Jul 14, 2008 Grassy aroma. Pours to brownish honey color that is slightly cloudy. Strong hops flavor. Finish is hoppy, bittery and long lasting. finish is somewhat harsh.

Jul 7, 2008 Taste 7/8. Bottle from total Wine...must be old. No head at all. Aroma is muted hops. There is no presence. No malt flavor. Watery and bland. There is only the spice of hop. No date on bottle. But the experience of others (the ratings)make me believe its just not the same beer. I’ll try it again.

Jul 7, 2008 Solid IPA. Lots of malt, grassy hop finish. There’s a bit of metallic aftertaste I don’t quite like. It’s a pretty straightforward IPA--nothing outrageous but good effort.

Jul 7, 2008 Poured a deep reddish brown and a nice foamy head. Very floral and herbaceous in the aroma. I liked the unusual hop character in this one that gave some interesting impressions. A pleasant if soapy finish.

Jul 6, 2008 Bottle from Foodery. Dark amber with good head. Nice floral and hoppy aroma. Different flavors for this IPA. Taste is more floral/perfumey than fruity; and the minimal of grapefruit is refreshing. Mild malt. Not too sweet. Dry, floral, and bitter.

Jul 2, 2008 Another smuggled back from my last trip to Greensboro. Pours a deep red amber brown color. Nice malt profile with some decent body reminiscient more of a double IPA in that respect. The hop profile is more straight up IPA though. Caramel malt aroma and faint citrus. The flavor profile is muted until the end of the finish when you get some bitter hops and metallic flavors on the back end.
