Pours a dark, rich copper color with a moderate beige head that diminishes mostly leaving spotty-stringy lace. Earthy/malty/hoppy aroma, caramel and toffee, floral notes, citrus juice and light spice. Nice flavor, rich malt backbone with bold hops too, lightly sweet, with fresh floral hops, lemon zest, spruce needles and dust. Medium body and gently crisp carbonation. Quite nice. Nice looking beer with a wonderfully hoppy aroma. It actually reminds me of the 90 Minute.
Nice grapefruit and citrus taste with a but of piney hop happenings thrown in there.
Overall, a nice little IPA. I enjoyed this a lot. Strykzone (1497), Wood River, Illinois, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Dec 14, 2007 Appearance is brown oily body with a light tan head. Aroma is pretty much classic IPA with hop almost biting at the nose. Hopheads will love this beer. Hops clearly dominate the flavor with tart pine and grapefruit. A hint of malt adds just a bit of sweetness but this is a classic well hopped beer. There is some unexpected life in the feel that shows up in the aftertaste. bigrond (1055), factoryville, Pennsylvania, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 3/5 | 18/20 | Dec 12, 2007 this is an awesome IPA. Full fruity nose, with a dark cooper color. Reminds me of Celebetion. A warm winter feel to it. Dry, bitter and damn good. finishes with lingering hops with a well balanced full bodied flavor. Top notch. If I new the alc. content I might add more points. boboski (1095), Alabama, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Dec 2, 2007 A thin, off-white, lightly lacing white head recedes to a few bubbles immediately. The body is a lightly hazed deep orange. The nose is boring, earthy hops and herbs dusted with a toasty and buttery malt base. Citrus is undefined and mild. Not very pleasant. The flavor is mildly to moderately bitter, extremely herbal and somewhat vegetal. Acidity is medium, sweetness low to mild and uninteresting. The maltiness is toasty but has no enjoyable traits. The mouthfeel is somewhat smooth, softly carbonated and lightly sticking. The finish is slowly drying, brimming with grapefruit bitterness. Drinkable but I wouldn’t bother again. | 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Dec 2, 2007 Poured a deep, rich amber color. Aroma is mild hops, with some caramel and malt coming forth. Very mild and muted. Flavor is mild and toasted, with very little else. SpringsLicker (2043), Tennessee, USA

Light malt with a grapefruit hop aroma.
Good body, long lasting bitter finish. Well balanced and well done.

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 1, 2007 The beer pours a color that is a mix of orange/red/amber, completely lucid with a small head. Aroma, for me, is a perfect mix without going over the top and annoying me. We got sweet and citrus hops and light tea aspects. Taste is a bit more aggressive, some bitterness more sharpness to the hops and less delicate sweet and citrus mix. Everything else is right around the norm. 12oz bottle, La Trappe small goblet glass.
