Commercial Description:
We ventured into unfamiliar territory to create an IPA to fit our style. An intense floral nose, firm balanced flavor and long hoppy finish make Rocky Mountain IPA our very own.

Nice reddish-copper color and pours with a thick khacki head. Good lacing. Aroma is grapefruit and a bit floral. Hops are grapefruit and resin, a bit floral tasting, with caramel toasty malt definitely playing a major role. Hops aren’t quite sharp enough to compete with the big boys in this category but this beer is quite good.

9/19/2008: Fort Collins Rocky Mountain IPA has an aroma containing earthy, citrus hop and toffee malt. ITs color is orange and it is mostly clear. It has athin beige head that leaves decent lacing. It has a malty, hoppy flavor with hints of citrus and some slightly toasty malt. The bitterness builds toward the finish. This beer is extremely drinkable and quite sessionable.

12 fl. oz. bottle shared by Drjohnrock. Thanks! Rating #293 for this beer.

Tap, tasting poured by the owner of the Liquor Loft in Tallahassee. Great guy by the way!(Byron) Amber pour, medium head. Simple aroma of citrus and floral hops. Flavor isn’t as hoppy as many hopheads would want, but I thought it was nice. Sweet and bitter. good.

Nice off-white head. Amber color. Floral hops aroma. Moderate, but not extreme hopping. Slight citrus flavor. Flowery overall. Well-balanced and with a good mouthfeel. Good, but not great.

Poured from bottle. Aroma of floral hops. Dark amber, medium tan head persists. Nice hop hit and good balance with the malt. Good finish. Better than average.

Hops, flowers and fruit on the aroma. complex hop taste which dosnt overpower and compliments the fruit notes well. Good IPA but I think it may be better categorized an APA.

Amber pour with a whispy white head. Aroma of floral hops and caramel, and sweet malt. Nice, balance hop and malt flavor with bitter finish. Medium mouthfeel, and lemony bitter finish. This is a pedestrian IPA that’s drinkable but nothing you’d want to seek out.

Very rich dark amber color. Wonderful floral notes with a lingering light white head. Floral notes stay on the palate and the bitterness is just about perfect.
