Finish is vacant with a side of the mouth feeling of bitterness. Aftertaste mildly pleasant due to said bitterness but the lack of body left me searching for something more, which was frustrating.

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Dec 28, 2009 Bottle from Sammy! Dark amber look, foamy dense white head releases a notable waft of hoppy character. Lemons and grapefruit, pine. Hop aromas replay in flavor, which has an edge of mineral to it that is great (ie. not just all harsh dry terpenes.) This has a really great balance from the moderately dark / pale malt combo. The feel and finish is excellent, hard to fault this very much (except that I’ll never see it again LOL.) gsmitty80 (653), Washington DC, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Dec 26, 2009 This is a rather good IPA. Nice malting and a good head when poured. The color is copper and very nice as well. Smooth clean mouthfeel and nice hoppy aftertaste on the palate. Sammy (4062), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | Dec 24, 2009 Bottle from Mike at Cole’s. A mushroom cloud of hop aromas from my Samuel Adams glass. Medium golden, with lots of lace left. A bit creamy mouthfeel, but also above average aggressive carbonation. Very drinkable, perhaps a tad thin. Decent bitterness. wilkie (1193), Raleigh, North Carolina, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 24, 2009 Bottle. Pours straw colored, slight haze, medium white head. Aroma floral, slight hint of toasted malts. Flavor is hoppy--grass, citrus, with an extremely dry finish. A little too much in hops for not enough in malt. JCB (1796), Durham, North Carolina, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Dec 20, 2009 On tap at the Flying Saucer, Raleigh. Cloudy orange pour with a fluffy, light head, very sticky retention. Soft floral notes dominate the nose, with a slight trace of bitterness. Mouthfeel is nice, a bit creamy. The taste has more of a balance between sweet and bitter, decently dry finish. Solid IPA. beernovice39 (307), South Carolina, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 3, 2009 A decent offering from Fort Collins. Sweet hop nose and light orange body and thin white head make the beer appealing but not extraordinary. A nice, bitter hop body surprised me and made up for my friend picking this beer for me. A good IPA, though more like a great APA. Ron (1038), Rochester, New York, USA

Floral hop aroma, hint of citrus and caramel. Some sweet and pine up front with bitter hop finish. Light bodied for an IPA.
