Draft (growler). The Rye Lager pours a murky caramel color with a smallish head that is quickly gone.

The aroma is smoky, sweet and rye.

The taste is slightly smoky and sweet caramel malt with some tangy rye notes. There is a faint bitter finish.

Overall, this is an interesting medium-bodied beer. There's a lot going on in the flavor. This is my first rye beer. A little on the sweet side, but good.
