Murphy (1759), Fort Collins, Colorado, USA Jul 13, 2007 Growler. Pours with a big white head, body is clear copper with considerable carbonation. Dry aroma, mossy with a touch of dark chocolate. Taste is loaded with subtle scotchy goodness. Bitter, mossy, with just a touch of diacetyl which I found appropriate here. Caramel peeps through the bitterness in the finish. Tangy. FCB finally breaks the mold with this one, not much of the house taste that makes some of their special offering stuff so similar.
