Light malt grain aroma with a touch of vegetal in there that is definitely misplaced. The flavor, however, is quite nice. Malty flavor that manages to remain light enough that it is easy to drink. Just a straight forward simple brew that is just a nice balance of grain and malt. Light-medium body with a creamy mouth feel. Would not have picked this as a summer brew but it was nice. | 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 1, 2008 Aroma is a sweet grain scent. Color is a hazy golden with good carbonation and a thin head. Taste is light and hoppy. Starting with a medium body it goes down smooth. Finish comes in with a fruity malt flavor followed by mellow floral hops a little citrus and an even bitterness. After taste is a little dry with a lingering bitterness and a bit of alcohol showing thorough. Good summer time brew with a slightly bolder flavor and body. Unpleasant buttery finish. Some booziness by the end of the bottle. CHeap and will get ya drunk. dkachur (2414), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 13, 2008 Odd that so few folks have rated this one give that Fort Collins has decently large distribution. Bottle from Sam’s on sale. Slightly hazy golden orange pour not much head. I did not realize this was a 7%er. Not typical for a summer brew. Some orangey citrus and lots of grain and malt on the nose and palate. Very sweet and malty (biscuit). An odd beer, and I’m not sure what it was going for. Really not that bad, but not something to take to the beach necessarily. kp (8500), Woodstock, Georgia, USA
