Fort George Ginger Raspberry Wheat

Draft at the brewpub. A hazy amber beer wtih a thin white head. The aroma is sweet malty with light notes of wheat and fruit. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of raspberries and light notes of wheat. The body is thin.

Raspberry nose from a thin white headed pale brew. I was expecting more complexity (or at least some sort of obvious ginger note) from the ginger but I think it only contributed to the dryness at the finish. A nice thirst quencher with a very fresh raspberry flavor on the tip of my tongue. Body was thin and some crackery flavors came from the malt. Decent dryness at the finish, seemed to stop the sweet fruit flavor but still keep the beer thirst quenching. Intersting. Decent.
