Commercial Description:
Belgian style ale that's pale and cloudy in appearance, that's because it's unfiltered and has a high level of wheat. Wit beer is traditionally brewed with coriander and orange zest. Ours uses organic pale and wheat malts, ground coriander, organic lemongrass (to impart a citrus character) and wild-crafted elderflower.

Its a wit. Very crisp and white. The finish is sweeter but not obnoxiously so, hints of spice and citrus, but muted.

On tap at Fort George, a cool place in the hometown of the Goonies. Color was a dull, hazy gold. Aroma was floral, with wheat, yeast and spice. Flavor was extremely floral for the style. Herbal, lemon, wheat and orange as well. A well crafted beer in my opinion.

Draught @ the brewpub. Pours a hazy pale yellow color with a small white head. Sweetish malty spicy aroma with some hints of citrus. Sweetish wheat malty spicy citrus flavor with some hints of coriander. Has a wheaty malty citrus finish, with some citrus hints in the aftertaste.

On tap at the brewery in Astoria--Poured a cloudy, hazy yellow-golden body with a medium white head. Sweet herbal spicy, hoppy nose (grassy earthy hops). Finished dry and prickly. Pretty refreshing.

Draft at the brewpub. 5.5% ABV. A hazy yellow beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of citrus, coriander, and lemon grass. The Flavor is primarily of citrus, but also with a light touch of wheat, leading to a dry wheaty finish. Nothing wrong, just unexciting.

Draft at the brewpub. Spicy belgian aroma (citrus peel/cardamom). Pale golden color with a creamy lacey white head. Medium body with creamy carbonation. Citrus peel and spice for flavor. A tad perfumey. Crisp. Fits the style.

Hazy, yellow. Light malt accent with shades of spice. Quick is right...not much to talk about nor think about and it’s gone just like that.
