Commercial Description:
Filtered and pasteurised. Available with added carbon dioxide in keg, can and bottled formats. First brewed in 1887.
Available in Britain as Export.
"A light-coloured lager style, it presents full malt character with a balanced clean hop bitterness. Combined with a slightly hoppy, but yeasty/malty nose, Foster's lager is a full bodied beer with excellent drinkability."

Pale yellow beer with a white head. Aroma is malt and cardboard. Flavor is watery with some faint bitterness in the background and a touch of malt sweetness. Finish fades quickly, but seems to be malt.

0,33 l bottle, bought in Auchan
Poured clear with a small white head. Minimal aroma of malt, some vegetables, metallic hop. Clear and moderated mouthfeel with sweet malt, lively carbonation, minimal hop. Average lager one...

Classic lager-golden appearance with not so diminishing white foam. Pathetic neutral aroma of corn, rice and horse piss-steeped cardboard. Dangerously neutral flavor of adjunct-infected light grains with wide selection of papery and medicinal notes in the mid-palate. Low, gummed, metallic hop presence in the finish. Waste of time. Amazing example of world-wide-industrial shit.

25.4 can... I didn’t finish. Looks like most American beer commercials’ focus... a golden-yellow... moderate head, faded quickly. Bubbly, very carbonated. Not necessarily bad, just boring. Soft sweetness. I’d buy again if a friend or two was really insistent on trying it... we could split a can a few ways and get it over with.

12 oz bottle. Smells like any American macro--cardboard, cheap adjuncts--terrible, in other words. Looks the same: yellow, a quickly dissappearing head, shit lacing. Actually tastes worse than most American macros. There’s a nasty stale grain taste to it not present in most beers of this ilk.

12 ounce bottle - $1.29 at Total Wine & More in Kennesaw, Georgia. Appearance: Pours a clear, golden body with a foamy, frothy, white head. Smell: Sweet-smelling aroma with mere, vague hints of barley and little else. Taste: Sweet light pale malts with faint, fleeting grain hints. Incredibly small amount of floral hops and bitterness, leaving this one to finish sweet and somewhat crisp. Mouthfeel: Light-bodied. Medium-plus carbonation. Drinkability: Pass this one by, folks. Foster’s has very little to offer beyond a simple, basic sweetness and some carbonation -- like a soda!

Fairly awful beer, very light bodied with a slight skunkiness that lingers on your taste buds afterward. Looks, smells, and tastes like shit.

On tap and oil can. Pours a clear light gold with a big persistent white head. The smell was mostly faint grainy malts. The taste is much like the smell, bland but bearable.
