johndoughty (1580), cheslyn hay, West Midlands, England Jun 29, 2008 Clear with no carbonation. Not a lot of body just a kind of sickly citrus taste. A novelty beer and not a very good one at that.My first Fosters rating and hopefully the last for a long a long time. mlb06uk (6), England does not count Oct 25, 2006 This lager is very different, in the sense that its a step forward from the usual tasting 4-5% beer. It looks good, with medium head and fairly light yellow colour, but you get the feeling all fosters have done is added lime to a regular pint of lager, and you dont need to ask for a fosters twist, to get a lager with lime do you? :P shoestring (158), larkhall, Scotland Jan 24, 2007 Gets marks from me for being refreshing, but not overpoweringky sweet or offputting.Despite ralatively low score, I did enjoy it. jbrus (4095), Delft, Netherlands Sep 14, 2006 Bottled, thanks to duff! Aroma of lemon, lime and grain. Pale yellow, white head, good lace. Light sweet, bit citric, light bitter, lemon. Drinkable if you are an Aussie sitting in the hot Australian sun. But I’m Dutch and living less than an hour from Belgium... rauchbier (2870), Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, England Jun 20, 2006 Bottle, courtesy of an unsuspecting S&N rep. Gold, thin white head and gentle condition. Delicate chalky grain notes in the nose with just a touch of grassy hops, initial malt in the mouth with a building fruity sweetness that eventually becomes slightly citric with traces of lime noticable. More gentle fruity citrus notes in the aftertaste but developing an artificial sweetness with time and a slight oiliness on the palate. Shouting about citrus hops on the front label then revealing the presence of lemon and lime juice on the back label seems counterproductive, and the result is disappointingly lacking in any hop character.
