Commercial Description:
A rich, smooth medium-bodied amber ale. We balance the complex maltiness of six varieties of toasted & caramel malts with the subtle bitterness of Cluster & Willametete hops. A luxury you can't afford to miss. Thanks for your support.

Bottle. Amber colour with a big beige head. Malty, carboard, sweet candy aroma and taste. Medium body with a sweet finish.

Bottled. An unclear orange beer with a huge brown head with stains of black. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of straw and caramel, and so is the flavor.

on tap, dark amber, smooth, a bit dry? and overly bitter. Not the most refreshing or interesting beer at Founder’s...or anywhere else.

On tap: Medium/Dark amber-copper color. Sweet, but not overly so. Pretty smooth, no bite on the salivary glands like many other ambers. Otherwise, fairly typical amber profile. Well done.

Thanks to StewardOfGondor for hooking me up with this one. Pours a dark amber color, no head, small little white floaties hanging out. Aroma is musty butterscotch, nuts, cat piss. Flavor is thin, soapy and acidic. This one might be slightly past its prime. I’m not sure.

Bottle thanks to Joel. Nougat, caramel, and maple syrup in the aroma. Citric acid is the first thing to come to mind when sipping. Otherwise there’s dusty crystal malt and some corn stalk. Not so good.

Thanks to Matt via Joel. The beer smells of butterscotch, pecans, and pralines, but doesn’t smell very good. Smells artificial. The beer pours to an amber body with a thin whitish head. The flavor is sweet, acetic, and overall boring. Hard to describe but not worth doing that either. I’d much rather have a fresh Miller High Life than drink this.
