Commercial Description:
A rich, smooth medium-bodied amber ale. We balance the complex maltiness of six varieties of toasted & caramel malts with the subtle bitterness of Cluster & Willametete hops. A luxury you can't afford to miss. Thanks for your support.

Bottle: Has the "Red Eye" label on this one, so I think this is a little older than the bottles with just "Amber Ale". Pretty big caramel and toffee aroma with a touch of sweet fruitiness. Pours a transparent amber with a minimal off-white head that is quickly a ring. Moderate caramel and toffee flavors, but maybe just a tad watery. Finishes with a light sweet roastiness and light hops. Decent for a style that I’m not a big fan of.

Bottle. Pours a reddish amber color. Off-white head forms slowly and fades quickly. No lacing. Aroma is weakly of malt. LIght to medium bodied. Flavor is moderate sweet malts balanced by a slight hop bitterness. A touch thin. Fair.

This thing foamed up more than any beer i had ever seen. At one point the whole glass was foam and all i did was pour out the beer that was in the neck of the bottle. Amber body with the head being white with a red tint too it. Sweet malty aroma with a slightly alcoholic note as well as apples and pears. Malty fruity sweetness in the taste with a bit of molasses at the end. Nice and easy to drink.

Had a little trouble with this one at the onset. Cracked the crown, phssst, and on release, out went this highly carbonated brew, and I acted swiftly to get it in the glass, but not without some spillage, and the hasty rescue, left the pint about 5/6ths foam. Licking and slurping the overflow mad for a tasty preview, but I wait now, for it to settle... hazy, tawny orange color, veering into red, but not quite, under an impressive mass of foam, lace-leaving, delicate and whipped-creamy, as well. Aroma: sharply hoppy, vibrant, lively, light spice and fruit, major malt, roasty, sweetish, and tremendously complex. Rich sweetness continues in taste, but ends dryly, and finds excellent balance. there’s something very unique in it’s character, though it also reminds me of Bell’s Amber, no a bad comparison. Shares certain traits with Belgian ales, too. This is an intriquing concoction. body is light, finish a bit short and tart at the end, mouthfeel is soft, and

great amber coloring....medium off white head; flavor was very surprising....toasted and roasted malts, with hints of caramel (a cross between a pale ale and a porter?)...overall a decent beer

Amber in color moving towards brown with an off-white head. Sweet, toasted, crystallized sugar aroma. Bready malt flavor with a subtle milk note and hints of hard water and tobacco-like hops. Very creamy at first but the finish dries dramatically and drops quickly.

Only had one of these so far, but have to say it was the most carbonated beer I’ve had. Hard to find the beer under the full glass of foam. It really tasted like a soda pop and not much more. Beyond the carbonation, the color, aroma, and flavor wasn’t bad. A pretty easy drinking amber.

I guess this is what I’d really like to think and Amber Ale is. No its not an ale that is brewed with amber ale malts and hopped so much that you can’t taste the malt and no its not my favorite style. The flavor is carmelly and lightly hopped with American hops. It is translucent amber in color. Mildly sweet malty flavor amd finish. This would make a really good session beer.
