| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jan 2, 2009 Nice oak aging here that keeps its cool and stays really smooth. Aromas of vanilla and wood. Flavor is roughly the same with a hint of sweetness on the finish. Pour is a dark copper color with a ton of sediment. Under the vanilla and oak you have a bit of red fruit flavors, plum, and some molasses. Pretty tasty. sebletitje (1997), Tampa, Florida, USA

Hard to go wrong with any of Founders Bourbon beers. Just pure goodness.
Pours amber with beige head.
Aroma has really good notes of Bourbon and vanilla.
Taste is extremely smooth, with presence of the Bourbon barrel and oak. Finish is lightly hoppy.
This bottle had actual abv of 10.2
Excellent, too bad it is hard to come by.
