bottle, muddy almond color, slight head, aroma of malty scotch whiskey, flavor is quite different with celery seed, parsley, butterscotch and raw oak, finish is strong but not overpowering

12oz bottle from WLV Liquours. Pours a muddy ruby brown with a creamy soapy beige head. Dark fruits, licorice, and bourbon are abundant and delicious in the nose. More dark fruits, and bourbon flavors, the licorice flavor takes on a charred note, with vanilla, oak, and a bitter licorice finish. If you like scotch ales this is one extreme, but great example of it. Tasty stuff.

Bottle...medium cloudy brown with a tan head...drippy lacing forming...sweet malt aroma with bourbon aroma...strong bourbon...strong alcohol presence and more bourbon...damn holy alcohol!....its like a shot of bourbon with a beer chaser...creamy heavy body...so bourbon fufilled its hard to taste much else...sweet finish...bitter chocolate...minor....Frank tastes moleasses and apricots through the napkin influence

12 oz. bottle - big thanks to eclectic for this killer bonus brew; pours with a thin tan head and mostly flat, clear dark brown; minor floaties; aromas of bourbon, vanilla, chocolate, candy and alcohol; drinks very sweet and strong; not too much of a bite, but you can feel the high ABV going down; had a great chocolaty smoothness to it going down; vanilla, oak, dank fruit and sugar; almost a BW in texture and aromas; more memorable than the regular Dirty Bastard

Pours a darkened reddish brown. Big frothy tan head with a little stickiness. Heavy sugary nose. Caramel, vanilla, bourbon, and a crazy likeness to spiced coconut rum. Flavor is laden with bourbon and smoky peat. Heavy alcohol, caramel, vanilla and brown sugar. Not too sweet though. Kinda a like a bourbon barrel barley wine. Finishes sweet with a little sharpness. Body is medium thick. I am not a big fan of bourbon and this is by far the most bourbon influenced brew I have had to date. I overlooked that though and feel that while it is not my personal favorite it is nonetheless a high quality Scotch.

12 oz bottle. Pours a red-tinged brown with a small light tan head. Amazing, smooth aroma of bourbon, caramel, vanilla, and oak, slightly sweet, with hints of dark fruits and earthy tones. Flavor is earthy peated malts, caramel, oak, a bit of vanilla. Bourbon and oak finish. A pleasure to drink.

Bottle. Pours hazy red with a beige head. The aroma has cheap bourbon, peat, and vegetables. The flavor is cheap bourbon, cheddar cheese, and butterscotch. Pretty bad. Poured half my glass down the drain. Assuming I got a bad bottle, hopefully I get a chance to rerate this at some point.

tronraner’s Xmas Eve Eve Eve Tasting. Sample from a bottle thanks to Suttree. Cloudy light brown with a thin light whitish head. Big peat and alcohol aroma, taste is peaty, scotch with a nice smokiness and vanilla.
