Commercial Description:
Big and delicious for your ’perty mouth. Expect lovely, warm smells of single malt scotch, oaky bourbon barrels, smoke, sweet caramel and roasted malts. A bit of earthy spice and a scintilla of dark cherries. It’s a kick-back sipper made to excite the palate.

12 oz. bottle generously shared by Gregis. Pour is cordovan, slightly hazed with an off white head. Some decent lacing on the glass. Aroma of caramel biscuit malt, with some cherry fruit sweetness. Bourbon woodiness in there as well. Taste is big Bourbon woodiness with a very drying caramel maltiness. Really boozy in the mouth despite a lower ABV.

12 ounce bottle shared by Greg. Pours dark red to brown with a light brown head. Clings to the sides of the glass nicely. Caramel sweet in the nose with some smoke and a strong shot of bourbon. An interesting fruitiness as well. Caramel and toffee flavors with some chocolate, but a bit over the top boozy. Medium body. Medium carbonation. Warm dry finish. Not bad. Not great.

Big thanks from hoppymeal for this bottle. Pours a fuzzy garnet color with tan head that lingers for a bit. Wonderful nose of bourbon, oak, vanilla, cranberries and sweet maple flavored malts. Taste is just as good with peat flavors and a smooth finish that makes is a fantastic beer. hoppymeal, you rock.

Bottle courtesy of JB175. Pours a cloudy dark caramel color with a one finger beige head. You can really smell the bourbon in this one and it dominates the nose with just a hint of malt around the edges. Palate is bourbon upfront with some oaky vanilla and sweet sugary malt in the finish before the alcohol burn hits your over the head. Looked thin on the pour but it’s pretty creamy mouth feel. This is an interesting brew. I like it, not sure I’d trade for more, but I like it enough that I’d buy a few if they were sold here. Definitely warming with that 9% abv. Thanks for hooking me up with this Jason.

Bottle thanks to Eric. Pours a light red/brown with a thin white head. The aroma is mostly heavy alcohol and peat. The taste is like a fairly dry and smooth scotch, with some smoky malts and some sweet brown sugar. Really quite nice. It’s not a style I love, but this is really well made.

Pours a dark brownish red with a almost non existent off white head. Aroma is very strong with vanilla and wood. Flavor is vanilla, bourbon, caramel, butter, maple wood. Finishes slightly sweet, alcohol is apparent. Very interesting. Thanks to secret santa, styles, and TheCheeseMan for all hooking me up with bottles of this at different times. I finally got around to cracking one! Thanks guys.

Bottle, thanks to after4ever. Pours clear mahogany with a lacy off-white head. Aroma of brown sugar, spice and smoke. Caramel biscuit taste. Sort of like Cinnabons without the cinnamon. Dry smoky finish.
