Pours a slightly hazy reddish amber with tiny floating impurities and a small, creamy yellowish head. Distinct sweet bourbon aroma. Medium-bodied with sweet caramel and fruit, a little spicy with the bourbon notes really shining through leading to a somewhat boozy finish. A little low in carbonation. Very pleasant. 220808 yespr (12345), Copenhagen O, Denmark

| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Feb 13, 2009 Murky reddish-brown with no head. Very whiskeyish aroma with chewy earthiness underneath. Lots of vanilla and bourbon. Light caramel notes as well. It’s burly, but I’m not sure what they are trying to do. The base beer and the barrel don’t really ever find common ground here and it comes across the palate a muddled mess. argo0 (6964), Washington DC, USA
