Bottle. Pours an amber gold body with an off white head. A fruity sweet aromatic character with some bananas, cherry and apples. Alcohol latent fruits, and a light spices. this is a pretty poor offering for a quad and for founders.

Bottle in trade from jsquire. Thanks man!
Pours a rich dark amber to maroon with lasting big beige head. Smell is sweet, light raisin and candi sugar. Taste is fairly bland, lightly bitter with subtle dark sweet raisin flavor and belgian yeast and some alcohol flavor. Medium to slightly syrupy body with normal carbonation. Ok, but not great.

Nice medium amber pour with a nice little off white ivory colored head. Smell is fruity and light alcohol and perhaps a few figs in there too. Flavor is a touch alcohol hefty but isn’t bad overall. Drinkable but just not too bold. Nice mouthfeel - a little thick and creamy almost. Overall, okay.

12oz bonus bottle off my wants list from kp. Thanks Keith! Bottle says 9.8%: I guess it varies year to year. Cloudy amber color. Butter caramels and nutty aroma with alcohol emphasis. Leans sweet. Nicely drinkable. 3.8-3.9

Dense-bodied appearance, sepia/amber under short yet holding cream-colored head. Aroma exhibits a tart, fruity quality along with a wealth of alcohol like a cherry liqueur or (sadly) NyQuil. Additional sweet toffee notes behind. Heavily potent flavor with a taste that mimmicks the aroma, tart pitted fruit with a touch of caramel. A tad flat yet silky bodied. OK.

Bottle courtesy of Cornfield. Thank you, sir.

Pours a very opaque and muddy brownish red in color. No head forms at all on the pour. You can immediately pick up some fruity tones upon popping the cap. That’s where the positives cease. This tastes like a fruity alco-pop. Very fruity and alcoholic. Like a cheap bottle of Mad Dog 20/20. Medium mouthfeel and a somewhat cloying aspect. I love my boys at Founders, but they severly missed with this one.

On tap at The Oak Cafe. Transparent mahogany, ring of bubbles. Aroma has tons of fruit, banana, dark fruits and apple. Flavor on par with a big residuel sweetness. Slight alcohol warming. Nice silky smooth mouthfeel. On tap this was a nice brew, dissapointed when the bottles came out.

Pour is a ruby red with a fruity aroma. Flavor has a sweet natural fruit character, floral notes, and a medium malt character. Alcohol is hidden quite well. Has a bit of a dry finish. Good. May buy again.
