Wow, i am dissapointed with founders. I know making a quad is a tough jump into the belgian market. This was barely drinkable and I was unable to rate this any higher. This is harsh, aggresive, biting, not smooth, and has an odd apple flavor. The alcohol does not seem all the hidden at all. I think i could have hid a couple of shots of everclear in a bud light better than this. Sorry for anyone who enjoyed this but this beer gave me chills and I am glad i split it with a friend.

Bottle: Pours amber in color. Small white head. Smell is very sweet. I notice a very banana like smell, with maybe a hint of spice in it. Taste is similar. I taste a bit of banana, maybe some ornage and what I think is a lot of candi sugar. It tastes midly carbonated, but the slight carbonation seems to overpower the flavor and give it a slightly off taste. The more I drink, the worse it seems to get too.

Label on bottle reads "Bad Habit Quad." Pours a cloudy orange with brown tones an a thin off-white head that disappears quickly before your eyes. Aroma has hints of spices, banana and pears. Flavor is very sweet and fruity with a thin syrupy feel on the palate. Drinkable but a little too sweet for my liking.

Pours a nice deep golden brown with a small head. The aroma of banana, spices, hops, and malt are immediately noticible. The first few sips the flavor of banana dominates. Later the hops and spice flavors come to the forefront.

Pours a rusty/deep copper color. Nose has an overtone of alcohol, with banana, candy, and a hint of spice. Very smooth and buttery, the taste is a little lacking, coming in with alcohol, water, and a hint of the before mentioned banana candy. Finishes with a light alcohol bite. Overall a little odd, this one... I don’t know whether to like it or hate it. It kind of falls under the category of just too much, and might have been better if toned down a bit, with more concentration on flavor. I think I will age one or two and see if they improve.

Pours a deep brown with an orage tint. Very little head. Loads of bannana aroma, slight spice, tough of brown sugar. Tastes like bannanas foster, but that’s about it. Very cloying. Very thin body for a quad and a bit too carbonated.

Bottle... Hazy, caramel-colored ale with a small, fizzy, off-white head. Bubblegum, banana and pear esters construct the nose. A kiss of mint is thrown into the mix. Fruity, tangy flavor with medium sweetness; mild bitterness from what I assume are aged hops. The alcohol is definitely there, but I wouldn’t characterize it as "hot." A touch yeasty in both the aroma and flavor. Full-bodied and oily with lively carbonation. Sweet, gently pungent finish. Thanks, BBB63, for the bottle!

[bottled as "Bad Habit"] Light reddish in color, with a very short head- leaving very little lacing. Aroma is pretty decent, but smells mostly of booze and bananas. Flavors are sweet, overpoweringly sweet. Bananas, bubblegum and loads of alcohol. No real yeast character to speak of. This one needs to mellow out. A decent attempt at the style, but a bit rough around the edges.
