| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 14, 2006 On tap at the brewpub on 4/28/06: Nearly opaque dark brown pour has a thin-lacing, wispy tan head. Slightly tart dark caramel malty nose. Body starts tart and sweet with some toasty dark caramel maltiness and a touch of bready yeast. Decent balance, but the light tartness isn’t very true to style. | 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | May 3, 2006 On tap at Founders. Deep murky black-brown body, medium off-white head. Lightly toasty chocolatey aroma. Rather thin, light body with toast, chocolate, and a light bite on the tongue. A touch grassy but little wheat character on the whole. An underwhelming beer with very little flavor and complexity. Terminus (1955), Las Cruces, New Mexico, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jul 24, 2006 tap at the brewpub-deep brown with a fuzzy kack-head. banana and chocolate nose with touches of dusty esters, lots of yeast twang and some chocolate in there as well. body is medium with lighter than expected carbonation since its a weizen. finish has notes of chocolate, with a touch of bananas. the chocolate goes on for a long time in the finish. I dig it and its pretty under-rated if you ask me. ryan (1781), Beltsville, Maryland, USA
