| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Apr 26, 2008 A- Pours a deep red color with little to no head.
S- Smell is very sweet, predominately raspberries with light bready notes.
T- Starts off very sweet, raspberries and moves into a tart, astringent, dry, citrusey flavor and ends with an off flavor some people have characterized as "band-aid" but I think it is just the alcohol masked by some of the other flavors which creates a bit of an undesirable tone.
M- Very dry, crisp, thick with quite a bit of carbonation.
D- Definitely a desert beer, for the 12 percent alcohol this one is extremely drinkable. It doesn’t quite measure up to raspberry tart but it’s hard to hold that against it. Vac (2389), San Diego, California, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Apr 21, 2008 Pours with a cloudy, red-plum body topped by a thin head with some lacing. It’s sweet and full of raspberry notes with a touch of tartness and an underlying bitterness. Light to medium bodied, dry and tingly. tronraner (1933), Seymour, Tennessee, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Apr 15, 2008 Bottle at the April Get Together. Pours a bold magenta with light pink head. Not something I would want to be seen drinking in public. The aroma is raspberry with slight ambient sweetness. The flavor is tart raspberry with some citric acidity. Dry, sparkling finish. I would never have guessed the alcohol content had I not read it; it is almost entirely undetectable. I kinda hate to admit it, but I really liked this. georgekappus (296), Brookfield, Connecticut, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 14, 2008 Bottle. Pours a deep garnet color with no head. The aroma was raspberries and not much else. Tasted like grape juice with a kick. This was not like a beer at all but like a wine cooler. Slightly fizzy on the palate. Even though this beer was totally different than my usual preferences I would have it again. Shag (1923), Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 3/5 | 18/20 | Apr 13, 2008 This poured a reddish pink color with a large pinkish white head. Quitting laughing you pervs! The aroma contains raspberries and some hints of apple. The flavor contains some raspberries and sour apples. The 12.3% does not show at all in this beer. The mouthfeel was very carbonated. Decatursteveo called this a "date rape beer" Well anyways.....a great one in the league of the New Glarus fruit beers. Suttree (2734), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Apr 13, 2008 Updated: Apr 16, 2008Nice surprise here. It Pours pink, and a huge aroma of raspberry - kind of a mix of fresh raspberry and raspberry candy. Flavor is crisp raspberry and not at all cloying. Raspberry definately dominates the flavor, but mixed with Sprite and Champaigne. Tasty stuff. heylrule (46), Maryland, USA
