johnadam2002 (529), Hainesport, New Jersey, USA Aug 24, 2007 Poured ruby red with a fluffy pinkish head. Strong aroma of raspberries. Tons of raspberry flavor. This can’t be over 12%. Well made!
jeffwilliams11 (304), hooterville, Michigan, USA Nov 29, 2008 22oz bottle shared at hopcat...pours clear ruby red with very small fading head. flavor is wonderful real raspberries, tart, acidic. not very sweet, but very drinkable. bottle was marked 13.5%, which is not noticable at all. FROTHINGSLOSH (1560), GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA Nov 27, 2008 Sampled from a 22 oz brown bottle this beer poured a bright berry red color with a small pink head that faded quickly. The flavor was tart, tangy and sweetish with strong notes of berry. The flavor was very tart and sour berry with yeasty undertones and a long tart berry finish. The mouthfeel was moderately thick. The alcohol was very well hidden. Not sweet enough for me though. Interesting. HonkeyBra (517), Lemont, Illinois, USA Nov 26, 2008 Pours a deep ruby with a thin white ring around the glass. Raspberry aroma with some spice or grain? Tart raspberry flavor with a bit of bready malt in the background. Alcohol is undetectable. Thinnish mouthfeel with low carbonation. This is like triple New Glarus Raspberry tart. Good. Homer321 (120), Rockledge, Florida, USA Nov 20, 2008 courtesy of mcbackus. full of cherries and rasberries! This really lives up to the labelling! slightly tart and belgian-like. kind of like a knock off of New Glarus Belgian Red. slightly dry, almost choking. Not a beer I would go out of my way to get. chicagodri (634), Chicago, Illinois, USA Oct 25, 2008 Pours a dark red with a thin pink head. Aroma is a lot of sweet raspberry. Ton of sweet raspberries in the flavor, some malt. I thought it hid the 12.3% pretty well. I will get this again, good stuff.
