Great beer. Very inovative. Excellent for dessert! A bit syruppy, but other than that a winner.

Bourbon, oak, and tequila aroma. Black and coffee colour. Bourbon, oak, chocolate, and cough syrup flavour. Farily sweet for my liking.

Just found my notes from when I had this last fall. Served in a snifter at the brewery. Looks great. Taste is not overpowering, incredibly creamy, with chocolate, and some espresso, vanilla and bourbon. I hope I get another crack at this one.

Tap.. Very appealing, complex aroma with a very small creamy head. Nice full bodied stout that hints of vanilla ash, toffee, espresso, chocolate, and of course bourbon. Not too overpowering but very much makes it’s presence known. Nice finish but as expected a wee bit heavier on the stomach than the breakfast stout. Very nice brew

Thanks to cquiroga for this rare brew. Oprah Winfrey. Thick, dark and rich. The Bourbon is slight which allows lots of chocolate, molasses and espresso to come thru’. It is a little thin but as a re-bottle I more than most, understand the effects of that. A very nice brew indeed.

Thanks to Cquiroga for sharing this beer. Poured black with a brown edge and a small brown head. Pleasant aroma of vanilla ash, coffee, smooth mild bourbon, and some chocolate to round it out. Vanilla appeared to start off the flavor . Notes of coconut and chocolate. Moderately bitter and dry finish. The body seemed a little light to me.

Pours a dark brown with a small spare tan head. Aroma of bourbon, oak, lightly smoke sausage, and vanilla extract. Flavor of roastiness, malt, cocoa, and bourbon with a dry finish.

Smooth, deep, dark, creamy, rich flavor, robust but not overly cocky, pure stout and pure flavor. No nasty bitterness, no sick alcohol overtones. Just delicious, holy crap was this good.
