Commercial Description:
You’ve got to love coffee to truly appreciate this phenomenal brew. Brewed with an abundance of flaked oats, bitter and sweetened imported chocolates, Sumatra and Kona coffee. We’re actually not sure if this is some type of coffee cake or a beer. Either way you can drink this ale with a fork. Breakfast Stout has an intense fresh roasted coffee nose toped with a cinnamon colored frothy head that seems to never fade and makes you wish breakfast could last forever.

Pours black with a tiny quickly disappearing brown head. Nose is fresh roast strong coffee, fresh coffee beans, booze, cocoa, roasty malt and sweetness. Flavor is a toasted oat, roasty caramel, rich bitter coffee, creamer, baking chocolate, hints of licorice. Very nice. Cannot believe this was the first time i have tried this.

Pint class, cool but not cold. Coffee aroma is intense with coffee, coffee, and more coffee on the font with nice bitter sweet chocolate and soy sauce finish. In between you can get some oatmeal flavor and some subtle hop character. Thick like heavy cream with head like whipped cream. The flavor is of French roast and the level of carbonation is just about right. Its a very good brew which would be even better with a little less coffee so that the other flavors could come out.

Bottle thanks to cavie. Pours a very nice looking deep, dark brown/black with chocolate colored head. Aroma is great, coffee, grain, malty, chocolate. Flavor id EXACTLY the same, very nice dark roastiness as well. Mouth feel is heavy body with low-medium carbonation, a little creamy. Overall, a VERY nice tasty brew....I want again! Good Shit!

Yum! 12 oz bottle at Caliente. Pours a beautiful ebony black with a nice cappucino head. Big coffee nose turns into roasted coffee flavors. Bittersweet chocolate keeps it from being too sweet and the oatmeal keeps this beer nice & smooth. All the ingredients for a great breakfast.

2009 bottles have just arrived in Kansas City! Easy on the eyes, pours a jet black with no light breaking through under a thin cap of reddish-brown head that took an aggressive pour to generate. Aroma is so coffee-dominated that it could be described as walking through the aisle of beans in your grocery. Highlights of coffee and a hint of hops manage to sneak out past the coffee as it warms. Not much in the way of sweetness here, just a punch in the face of blackened coffee beans and high-cocoa chocolate. Bitterness from the coffee and chocolate is met by some lightly bitter hops to make a face-scrunching brew! Oats are noticeable, but just barely. Heavy beer, not drinkable in weather over 70 degrees, but nice on a cool night.

(Bottle, Monk’s Café, Wallingatan, Stockholm) Black colour with huge, frothy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with loads of freshly ground coffee, slightly creamy. Malty, roasted taste with notes of heavily roasted coffee, dark chocolate, vanilla and a generous coffee bitterness in the finish. Full bodied, fairly dry, with smooth rounded moutfeel. Sensational balance. Absolutely lovely stout with an impressive coffee character.

Bottle at Monks Cafe, Wallingatan Stockholm. Pours black with a huge chocolate brown and very firm head. Cocolate both milk and dark, coffe, burned malts and some vanilla.

Bottle. The thickest brown head ever. Taste and smell reminds me of the chocolate drink O´boy. Bitter 80% cocoa chocolate in aftertaste. Add some cream, vanilla and stuff like that.
