Commercial Description:
You’ve got to love coffee to truly appreciate this phenomenal brew. Brewed with an abundance of flaked oats, bitter and sweetened imported chocolates, Sumatra and Kona coffee. We’re actually not sure if this is some type of coffee cake or a beer. Either way you can drink this ale with a fork. Breakfast Stout has an intense fresh roasted coffee nose toped with a cinnamon colored frothy head that seems to never fade and makes you wish breakfast could last forever.

Pours black with a dark tan head. Aroma is chocolate and roasted coffee. Huge smokey coffee flavor with bitter-sweet chocolate. This beer is delicious, and I would not mind having one for breakfast any day.

Bottle via trade. Pours black with a nice tan head. Real nice coffee aroma, along with roast and cocoa. Flavor is somewhat bitter with lots of coffee, roasted malt, oats, and chocolate. Palate is nice and full but not quite as creamy as something like Dark Lord or whatnot. Solid RIS though.

This beer is a great alternative to the more alcohol KBS. Its really good and glad I keep getting these as extras in trades. Damn nice beer that lets your palate work.

The aroma is beautiful, a mix of roasted coffee, oatmeal, bitter chocolate. The appearance is a beuatiful, completely opaque dark brown, fleeting tan head. The flavor is amazing, coffee, sweet cream, oats, dark chocolate, in that order. The finish is piney hops, citrus hops, and a nice reisdue of dark chocolate. Beautiful. The mouthfeel is medium thick. This is surprising, given the description. I thought it would be thicker. Creamy mouthfeel as well. Beautifully crafted stout.

Pours an opaque black with a nice ruby tinge around the edges. No head to speak of, really; just a faint beige lacing. Immediate aroma of roasty coffee; can almost smell a hint of sweetness. Very much a medium in the mouthfeel department, but the roast persists from beginning to end, & leaves a hint on the back end, coating your tongue in a pleasant way. Awesome brew; wish we could get it in MD.

Appearance - Black with dark, dark brown edges. Light has a lot of trouble trying get through this; light ultimately fails. A very small mocha brown colored head appears while pouring, sticks around for a little while and then retreats to a minimal amount clinging to the edges of the glass. Smell - Coffee; I can pretty much smell coffee. A little bit of roasty goodness in there as well that compliments the coffee well. Raisins, some milk chocolate, a little bit of creamer. Taste - The roasted flavors come through first and foremost, but they give way to an awesome blast of coffee and milk chocolate. It finishes with a lot of raisin character, The coffee is definitely not as strong as I thought it would be, but it lingers for awhile, especially in the aftertaste. Mouthfeel - The carbonation gives a nice prickly feeling in the gulp, mouthfeel isn’t too full but it isn’t too light either. I remember this being lighter the past times I have had it, but that was when I was drinking syrup disguised as beer all the time. This seems thicker and a lot better than before. Drinkability - This isn’t too high in alcohol content, the coffee doesn’t hit you like a freight train, and everything this beer should be seems to be balancing well with all of its qualities. This beer is definitely quality.

Simply put, the best stout I’ve ever had and my favorite to boot. I didn’t take any notes but I know that all the elements were there, rich coffee delectability, smooth chocolate overtones, hints of cherry, dark and dried fruits. A touch of sweetness but easily the most drinkable high gravity beer I’ve yet tasted. If I could brew any beer flawlessly this is the one I would imitate.

Black color with mediem tan head. Flavor was complex combo of sweet coffee and bitter chocolate. Finish was strong and lasting.
