Commercial Description:
You’ve got to love coffee to truly appreciate this phenomenal brew. Brewed with an abundance of flaked oats, bitter and sweetened imported chocolates, Sumatra and Kona coffee. We’re actually not sure if this is some type of coffee cake or a beer. Either way you can drink this ale with a fork. Breakfast Stout has an intense fresh roasted coffee nose toped with a cinnamon colored frothy head that seems to never fade and makes you wish breakfast could last forever.

It’s been a long time coming for this one. This beer pours a deep black with a big deep tan head and a nice playful little lace. The beer is intensely aromatic and has tons of coffee chocolate and oatmeal with pleasant but faint traces of oak and hops. The flavor is immediately like old coffee, like coffee that is left out a day or two, which should be unpleasant, but it works very nicely for this beer. The coffee flavor is wonderfully bitter with notes of chocolate a little vanilla and molasses all balanced out with a lingering hoppiness that stays with you longer than any of the other flavors.

12 oz bottle. Pours deep dark brown with a dark tan head. This beer had the foamiest, creamiest, longest lasting heads I’ve seen on a beer yet. Took over 10 minutes to pour. Smells of chocolate, alcohol, fermented fruit dominate the nose. Hints of malt, roasted grains, and coffe quickly follow up. Tastes roasted apples, coffee, creamy mocha, toasted cereal grains, and dark chocolate are foremost, while raisins, apple smoke, and root beer cream play with the back of the tongue in the aftertaste. Nice slow alcohol burn. Nicely sweetened, beautifly bittered, and not too sticky sweet has this beer one of the best beers in my beer world.

Bottle received from Bobby91w, thank you so much my friend! Pours black with a smallish off white head. Aroma is fresh roasted coffee and chocolate, very nice. Flavor is incredible! Dark roasted coffee, roasted malt and oats, very chocolaty in the finish. This one lives up to the hype, no doubt about it! I only wish it was available here in Los Angeles. This was an incredible evening of coffee stouts, and what a way to end the evening....yummy!

One of my go-to beers. I love the roasty flavors of coffee and dark chocolate. Complex and silky smooth on the mouth. You better enjoy coffee to love it, but even if you don;t it should rate up there with the best Imperial Stouts.

Pours a thick black with a very small dark brown head. Aroma is obvious of coffee with a notes of chocolate and cream. First sip doesn’t surprise because it matches the aroma. It does suprise in the fact that it is so smooth and heavy. I was pleasantly surprised at how much I liked this.

Chilly weather put me in the mood to not wait any longer. Mighty chocolaty, but in an awesomely good way. Just blends with all the richness - is sweet, but the sweet is not too intense and blends with the bitterness - just a supremely cohesive beer that I drained all too quickly. I did want to savor it,but alas ..

Poured black with a small, dark tan head. Nice coffee aroma with a chocolate undertone. Very smooth on the tongue. Primary flavor is, as expected, coffee, but with a lingering chocolate note and a slight grainy taste too. Excellent.
