Commercial Description:
You’ve got to love coffee to truly appreciate this phenomenal brew. Brewed with an abundance of flaked oats, bitter and sweetened imported chocolates, Sumatra and Kona coffee. We’re actually not sure if this is some type of coffee cake or a beer. Either way you can drink this ale with a fork. Breakfast Stout has an intense fresh roasted coffee nose toped with a cinnamon colored frothy head that seems to never fade and makes you wish breakfast could last forever.

Bottle. Number 1000. Huge thanks to KingpinIPA. Pours black, with a lasting brown head. The aroma has rich roasted coffee, hazelnut, toasted oats, and just a hint of chocolate. Smooth, heavy body. The flavor has roasted coffee, roasted oats, charred wood, some dark chocolate bittersweetness, and roasted chestnuts. It finishes with a nice roasted and lightly hoppy bitterness. Very delicious. Dangerously drinkable.

12 oz bottle. Very heavy on the mocha aroma, coffee beans and dry dark chocolate, not bad smelling though despite the high level of sweetness. Pretty pour with a good sized chocolate cream head that laces nicely, fairly thick, coffee brown-black in color. Similar to the aroma in taste, and very smooth and good feeling from start to finish. Normally would go much further with my description because this beer, but essentially it really is what it says it is… a breakfast stout, or a coffee beer to me. Ultimately what I’m trying to say is that this beer is much too sweet for my liking not out of balance in any way though, and I can definitely see how this beer came highly recommended from P.

Bottle. Strong aroma of coffee and chocolate. Opaque brown with a creamy light brown head that laces the glass nicely. Roast coffee flavor is up front, robust, but not overly bitter. Nice aftertaste of roast coffee and bitter dark chocolate. Full, creamy with nice lingering bitterness. Very good.

Brewed in the USA..... Pours black in color with a super thin tan head. Aroma of coffee, sweet chocolate, and oats. The taste is of bold dark coffee, bitter sweet chocolate, and molasses. The mouthfeel is silky and has a wonderful bitter chocolate texture that leaves you wanting more and more. This brew is yummy and robust, get some.

Pours black and oily with a thin, brown head -- doesn’t mess around with tan... Aroma is dominated by coffee, with chocolate and roast notes as well. Flavor follows suit with a massive amount of coffee flavor and a nice, smooth chocolaty finish. Good amounts of sweet caramel and molasses notes as well. No real hops flavor to speak of, but sufficient bitterness from roast.

Pours a deep black oil body with a thin tannish head. Aroma is medium sweet, roasty, big time coffee and chocolate as well as light floral. Flavor is bitter coffee and chocolate with a light roasty component. Finishes long and bitter. Texture is very creamy with light carbonation.

Bottle into snifter. Pours black with little to no head at all. Nose is more roasty than coffee, with notes of creamy cocoa. Taste is roasty, creamy, coffee notes but not dominant, oats and a very light acidity towards the back end. Coffee is not nearly as far forward as in some other coffee stouts, but despite the silky, creamy quality that comes from the oats - in flavor and texture - there is still a bit of roasty acidity peeking through. Mouthfeel is low carbonation, full body, silky.
