Commercial Description:
You’ve got to love coffee to truly appreciate this phenomenal brew. Brewed with an abundance of flaked oats, bitter and sweetened imported chocolates, Sumatra and Kona coffee. We’re actually not sure if this is some type of coffee cake or a beer. Either way you can drink this ale with a fork. Breakfast Stout has an intense fresh roasted coffee nose toped with a cinnamon colored frothy head that seems to never fade and makes you wish breakfast could last forever.

Bottle. Pitch black with a short light brown head. Coffe roasty soft sweet malty aroma. Quite good mouthfeel. Lovely roasty maltiness in the flavour along with coffee and a pleasant bitterness. Roastish pepper finish. Yes mamma!

Bottle. Almost black, opague. Dark chocolate and coffee in the abundant aroma. Full bodied, creamy mouthfeel. Dark roasted, creamy flavor with pepper, licorice, dark chocolate and coffee. Complex, delicious and overloaded with flavors and aromas.

A Mes rate: Bottle at Chris_O’s HogTownHarry minifest.
Thanks again to Harry. Absolutely loved this one. I’m a real sucker for stout with coffee and this really hit the spot. Black and tan looks with a nice thick consistency. Lovely malts, amazing fresh hoppage and heavy heavy black coffee. Really amazing stuff. Perhaps a little straight down the line but the balance of flavour and that huge slew of coffee left me wanting so much more once I had drained my glass. Excellent.

Bottle @ Yespr tasting.
[thank you, Storm]
Pours pitch-black with a pretty, creamy beige head. Good lacing on my glass. Aroma is powerful coffee with light caramel roasted sweetness behind it. Super creamy mouthfeel. Flavour is dry, lots of coffee. Drink a Mikkeller Beer Geek instead...

(Bottle) Pours a black body with a small tan head. Aroma of strong roasted coffee (smells just like a rich brew cup of joe). Strong coffee flavor with some chocolate to balance it out. Bitter, dry finish.

Poured a dark, dark black with a large, 4-finger brown head. I could smell the chocolate once I popped the cap off. Other aromas of coffee, oatmeal, smoke, tobacco, and subtle dark cherries. Tastes of roasted, espresso, chocolate, and licorice. Finishes dry with a bitter bite. Thanks to goldtwins for trading me this one.

12oz bottle-pours a thin dissipating brown head and black color. Aroma is coffee, roasty, some sharpness. Taste is ash/coffee/roasty-dark malt, some sharpness/acidic. Not my taste. Thanks jwc215 for sharing.
