The aroma is pretty much all coffee with touches of sweet malt and a daaaash of chocolate. The flavor is way upfront coffee with dark chocolate notes garnished with the delicious sweet and sour malty notes we all know to be a high-gravity stout! The luscious creamy mouthfeel is just the icing on the... oatmeal! WakeandBake (434), Greenville, Michigan, USA

Espresso, chocolate, and a hint of alcohol. Flavor is heavy on espresso, bitter chocolate rounds it out. Fantastic stout. I love it! So much better than Youngs. I just wish it was available locally. Pours deep dark brown. The greatness of this beer starts with the aroma of roasted malt, cofee, choclate, smoke.
Taste starts with strong roasted malts, cofee, chocolate, bitterness all in balance and harmony.
The flavors remain through the middle and ends with a nice dry bitterness.
The taste lingers and prompts me to take the next sip.
Drink it close to room temp 60 to 65 degrees to get all the flavors.

Aroma is huge, it escapes from your glass and fills your personal space quite well. Amazing roasted coffee aroma melds perfectly with a big, sweet chocolate presence. Cocoa butter is detectable as well. Initial taste is of a strong espresso, then leads you down a path of bitter chocolates, and finally ending up with a semi-sweet, roasted finish. Mouthfeel is not as thick as expected, and the head didn’t last too long, but these are the only negatives found in this extraordinary beer, along with its limited release. Almost perfect, thanks Ron!
